Living a Greener Lifestyle Program
At 7:30 pm on Monday, October 6th, the Parent Education committee of The Field Station Cooperative will present Living a Greener Lifestyle. The Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County will speak to the group on recycling in general, how we can help our children create green behaviors early, and give tips on living a greener lifestyle overall.
This free program will be held at the Westchester Library Service Center, located at 100 West Indiana Ave. in Chesterton (between Calumet and 2nd Street, 2 doors east of Westchester Public Library).
Handouts will be available after the presentation in a "paperless" email format. If you are unable to attend, please contact Annette Hansen at parenteducation@fieldstationkids.org to have one sent to you or call 219-241-7431 if you cannot accept email.
The goal of this program and committee is to help educate parents about important issues that affect their families and community. The Field Station Cooperative is a not-for-profit organization that offers nature-based preschool programs and after-school programs for kids in kindergarten through 5th grades.
